I was invited to a cooking & cocktail mixing class, at an event space, recently opened by @bonvivantberlin and I have to admit, I had so much fun! At @studio32.berlin, you can book a vegetarian fine dining cooking class or cocktail making class on their website, where you’ll also find different classes being offered. During our class, we learnt how to mix some gin sours, prepare a beetroot, feta, raspberry, roasted walnut & rocket salad and the art of plating it after. I couldn’t ask for better guidance then from the talented and experience team from Bonvivant Cocktail Bistro. @julik.sch @yololexander & @nikodemus_berger. The highlight for me, after the fun we had cooking together, was to enjoy the dishes and cocktails we prepared, at the private dining room of Bonvivant restaurant which is just directly next door. These classes are great for team events or as gifts for yourself, family and friends. As the days get colder & shorter, there’s nothing better than a hearty Alpine meal in a cosy setting, with excellent service. At @restaurant_jolesch, you can experience the Christmas menu which consists of goose ( something I look forward to every year ) and many other Austrian creations by head chef, Tobias Janzen, with matching wines selected by owner & sommelier, Renate Denng. There are also a variety of vegetarian options. We all know that @benedictberlin is famous for its fluffy buttermilk pancakes and diverse selection of breakfast dishes, but did you know that you can enjoy these dishes all day long? Their second venue in Prenzlauer Berg was buzzing when we arrived and I love the atmosphere, the service was outstanding and the food unbelievably tasty, be it savoury or sweet. My highlights from the menu are: • Massabacha - warm hummus, tahini, tomato seeds, harissa with chopped egg in olive oil & lemon • Eggplant Carpaccio - opened flame roasted eggplant, tahini, date honey, tomato seeds & pistachio • Grilled Cheese - homemade sourdough, emmental and ham, topped with cheese sauce and harissa fried egg. • Vegan Breakfast - savoury chickpea pancakes with fried onion, corn, tomato and herbs. • Raspberry and white chocolate pancakes - buttermilk pancakes filled with vanilla cream, topped with white chocolate and raspberry coulis.
