And it’s free. The city of Luxembourg is also pretty walkable and great for long strolls when weather permits Also you can rent a car if you feel more comfortable that way. Taxis are notoriously expensive in Luxembourg. ⠀ Best time to visit?🌳 Luxembourg can be visited at any time. Enjoy a drink with a beautiful view @scottspublux or a local wine @lagroceriegrund ⭐️ Explore Fort Thungen for fairy tale views practically all to yourself. ⭐️ Then ride the glass Pfaffenthal Panoramic Elevator for a scenic, free journey into the city centre. ⭐️ Take a day trip to Vianden. All public transport is free in Luxembourg and this town close to the border with Germany has a beautiful Gothic castle and fun chairlift over the valley that are definitely worth a visit. ⭐️ Head to @chocolatehouseluxembourg for sumptuous hot chocolate with a view of Palais Grand-Ducal. ⭐️ Discover the Bock Casemates, a subterranean defence system made up of kilometres of tunnels.
