Questo sito riceve infatti più di 4 milioni di visitatori ogni anno. Appena giunti al Santuario, non si può fare a meno di notare l’imponente campanile che la sovrasta. Alto ben 80 metri e con una croce in bronzo sulla somma di altri 7 metri, il campanile è una costruzione postuma rispetto alla prima costruzione della Basilica ed è visibile da quasi ogni angolo di Pompei. E’ sopravvissuto all’eruzione del Vesuvio nel 1944 e anche alle truppe naziste che ne minacciarono la demolizione.

𝗨𝗻 𝘃𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗼 𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼 ⏳ . . . Il Foro di Pompei fu costruito intorno al IV secolo a.C. sepolto dall'eruzione del Vesuvio del 79, e ritrovato a seguito degli scavi archeologici dell'antica Pompei. La struttura era la principale piazza della città e rappresentava il centro politico, economico e religioso dove si svolgevano manifestazioni, contrattazioni di ordine commerciale e dibattiti. Il Foro pompeiano, si distaccava notevolmente dai principali altri fori romani, assomigliando per lo più a uno di tipo greco; Nel suo genere, è uno dei meglio conservati delle antiche città italiche

The ruins of Pompeii 🌋🇮🇹 Pompeii, along with Herculaneum was buried under 4 to 6 m volcanic ash in the eruption of the still active Mt Vesuvius in AD 79. The ruins of Pompeii is open to public and free on first Sunday of every month. Otherwise the entry fee is 16 euros and you can easily spend 2 - 3 hours. Pompeii has a lot of bodies that are preserved as plastered casts. These cast show the exact position in which the people were buried. HOW TO REACH: The fastest and easiest way to reach Pompeii from Naples is the Circumvesuviana train the runs between the Napoli Piazza Garibaldi train station and the Pompei Villa dei Misteri stop in about 30 minutes. NOTE: You can also take a bus from Pompeii to the Mt.
