HOW to travel the Dolomites (FULL GUIDE)🇮🇹⤵️ Save for later📝 The Dolomites are a place you definitely need to visit at least once in your life! Here are some tips on how to travel them.⤵️ TRANSPORTATION🚘 You definitely need a car to get around. There’s probably also public transportation but I guarantee you, that you want to stop every now and then because of the absolutely stunning views & mountains everywhere. LENGTH OF THE STAY Depending on how much places you want to visit, I recommend you at least 5-6 nights, if you want to travel at a slower pace. We stayed for 4 & we were able to visit 4 locations, so each day a different one. MONEY💰 The currency is Euro and the prices are relatively moderate, except for the accommodations. Of course, you could also find budget stays, but the Dolomites are famous for their beautiful & luxurious spa hotels. We stayed at the @santre.dolomythic.home & if your budget is a little bit higher I definitely recommend you to stay there at least 1-2 nights. MUST VISIT PLACES🏔️ 1. Alpe di Siusi (Highest meadow in Europe) 2. St. Magdalena (Perfect sunset spot) 3. Passo Gardena / Sella Ronda (Beautiful mountain roads & great for hiking) 4. Ortisei (Charming & Old Italian village) 5. Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Crazy mountain peaks & perfect for hiking) 6. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in 🥹🏔️ This charming family-owned hotel in Northern Italy opened its doors just last year, and it has been captivating the hearts of all its visitors ever since. As soon as I saw their natural pond, perfect for swimming, I knew it had to be added to my bucket list. From the super kind and attentive staff to the unique fragrance, this place is perfect. The hotel’s designers have undoubtedly mastered the art of blending nature’s beauty with contemporary design elements, resulting in a harmonious and visually stunning atmosphere. The SPA zone is impressive, boasting numerous saunas and jacuzzis, making it an ideal destination for both winter and summer getaways. One aspect that pleasantly surprised me was the hotel’s commitment to eco-friendliness. Rather than providing the typical plastic mini bottles of toiletries, they have adopted a sustainable approach by offering locally made soap bricks, completely free of plastic.
