Putra Mosque 🕌 Did you know there are only FOUR pink mosques in the world and Putra Mosque is one of them? 😁 Not only that - but it’s in the middle of a lake! Putra Mosque is around 30 minutes from the centre of Kuala Lumpur and so worth a visit! Save for your trip to Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾 🕌 It’s free to enter but take note of visiting hours - 9-12, 2-3 and 5.30-6.30 Saturday to Thursday - visiting hours are restricted on Fridays due to prayers 🕌There is a donation box so bring some money with you and there’s also vending machines for drinks and snacks 🕌 You will be given a robe to wear regardless of what you wear - I was wearing long baggy trousers and a baggy shirt and a scarf but was still given one so dress comfortably and know you’ll be given something to cover up with when you enter 🕌Inside the prayer hall you may be offered a free tour to tell you more about the mosque and Islam which is super interesting so highly recommend you have one! 🕌The grounds and mosque itself are not huge so an hour or two is more than long enough to explore and take photos 📸 🕌 Afterwards you can head to Putrajaya steps or the botanical gardens and Moroccan pavilion to spend the afternoon! We loved it here! Not only was watching the sun go down behind the mosque rather magical but everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Definitely one to save for your Malaysia trip! Have any of you visited a mosque like this before? #putramosque🕌 #putrajaya #mosque #kualalumpur #kualalumpurmalaysia #kualalumpurcity #kualalumpurtrip #kualalumpurmalaysia🇲🇾 #malaysia #malaysiatrulyasia #malaysiatravel #mosquesofworld #kl #klcity
