In addition to desserts & cocktails, Sprinkle has coffee, tea & light bites. You can also turn any of the milkshakes into a boozy milkshake! This is a family friendly spot where you can bring your kids to get a fun dessert, or come in with your friends for pre- or post-dinner drinks. Sprinkle can also be rented out for private events. Donโt make a big mis-steak by missing restaurant week! ๐ฅฉ ๐Church & Union @churchandunioncharlotte - Uptown Charlotte From now through July 30, it is Queenโs Feast @queensfeast aka Charlotteโs Restaurant Week! During this time, restaurants are offering special 3-course prix fixe menus that range from $30 to $50 each. This is a great way to try some amazing spots, and you can find some incredible deals! I decided to use this opportunity to check out Church & Union @churchandunioncharlotte in Uptown, which has been named one of the 2023 Best Restaurants in Charlotte and a 2023 BOB Award winner by Charlotte Magazine. Their restaurant week menu was $40/person (quite the steal considering many of their entrees alone are $30-$40). We enjoyed the following: Appetizers: ๐ Chicken Karaage - sriracha aioli, โumamiโ sauce, togarashi, nori, fresh herbs ๐ฅ Braised Bacon & Melon - unagi, wasabi aioli, pickled jalapeรฑos, allium ash Entrรฉes: ๐ Sixty South Salmon - celery root purรฉe, sweet pea risotto, pearl onions, baby carrots, pea tendrils ๐ฅฉ Filet - crushed Yukons, bonito tomato jam Desserts: ๐ซ Dulce SโMores - chocolate chai brownie, torched meringue, cinnamon graham shortbread, Jivara dulce ganache ๐ Peach Buckle Tart - almond streusel, tarragon Chantilly, lemon crรฉmeux Everything was fantastic but I especially loved the Braised Bacon & Melon and the Filet โ both desserts were delicious as well!
