This is how I recharge my soul 🥰 Spending time in the outdoors is ALWAYS the thing that recharges me and makes me feel ready to tackle whatever else I need to do ….. I Can be in the most irritable grumpy mood and I go walking for even 20 minutes and my mood lifts! It’s like magic 💫😂 I mean I know the professionals have been telling us this for years right? 🥱 But honestly - falling in love with the outdoors and experiencing this for myself has been life changing 😲 (not even being dramatic😂) Over Christmas I got a tad lazy (who doesn’t!) and so I’ve been setting myself a bigger step target the last few weeks to get back into the swing of things & despite finding it tough getting outside when it’s either a) raining cats 🐱 and dogs 🐶 or b) arctic conditions 🥶 is not the easiest - I do feel so much better for it! 🫶 Heres your reminder to get outdoors more this week! 📍 Sgwd Henrhyd (Henrhyd Falls) pronounced “SGOOD HEN-hrhud” 🔸 Considered one of the tallest waterfalls in Wales, with a height of approximately 90 feet. 🎥 The movie “The Dark Knight Rises” was filmed there. So in 8 weeks time, we will have just landed in Mexico 😱 We will have every single thing we own in four backpacks. We will have no idea how to even begin to live life without a 9-5 job after working in corporate roles for at least 17 years …. 😱🤷‍♀️ We will probably be anxious and definitely excited 🥹😃 We will have a plan but will have no idea if it will work out …. No idea if it’s “realistic”…. No idea if it’s doable; no idea if we will even like this new life 🤷‍♀️😂 It’s not as if we’re going travelling for a year or two and coming home…. We plan to make this our life with no idea exactly if it’s possible?! It’s a huge leap of faith for us and honestly, we’ve been feeling every emotion possible. 😱😬🥵😍 I’ve had mornings where I’m so excited I’m dancing around the living room and I’ve had evenings where I’m literally crying on Steffan saying “maybe im not this person, maybe I can’t leave my family, maybe I’ll be too anxious, maybe maybe maybe…” But. We know in our hearts we HAVE to do this - sure we might not like it.
