Nothing in life is worthwhile, without taking risks 🤔 I’ve always been a planner, and I mean planning holidays 12-18 months in advance kind of planner. 🫠 I’ve always kept notes, diary’s, spreadsheets, plans and schedules months in advance. I’ve always known what’s going on and what’s going to happen way in advance. So quitting our jobs and leaving the UK with no sure way of making an income before we run out of savings was pretty out of character😂 It came with a TON of anxiety and uncomfortable feelings. And a lot of those I’ve been faced with since being here in Mexico. But a few weeks ago - I said no more 🤚 No more plans - no more schedules - no more pressure - no more stressing - what will be will be. Sure we will work but I’m done with wanting to take a chance and jump in but all the while clinging on to control and plans that are only making me more anxious! I can’t tell you how free I feel for the first time in years to breathe all the worry out and just accept that whatever will be will be. We will follow our passions in writing and photography as we travel and we will see where it leads us! 😁 It’s a risk - letting go of the plans and pressure but for the first time in my life - I might just enjoy going with the flow 🌊 How about you guys? Have we found the best beach in Mexico? 👀 This place is EASILY our favourite beach of all we’ve visited on the coast of Nayarit and Jalisco! Despite many people flocking to the Riviera Maya and Cancún for beaches we reckon this spot will give any of them a run for their money 👀 The miles of stretched palm trees, golden sands, Rocky Mountains in the distance and lake just back from the ocean is just so pretty 😍 It’s not a super well known beach and every-time we’ve been we’ve been the only people there and maybe 1-2 others which of course just adds to its charm! You know I’m usually team hotel 99% of the time but @sayulitaoasis absolutely blew me away on my last visit to Mexico! Here were some of the highlights: • 6 homes, 10 bedrooms, AND a waterfall infinity pool • 360° views of the ocean, mountains, and jungle • A/C in every casita and some of the homes had their own living room & kitchen • huge outdoor palapa lounge and bbq/bar area • outdoor garden with banana, lime, and avocado trees • location was perfect - the villa was only a ~10min walk away from everything • extremely affordable (the entire villa fits 24-26 so the price per night was super reasonable and we only had 15 people total) So who’s down for this unforgettable @airbnb experience in Sayulita?
