Perfect summer road trip in @southdakota 🚙 We went on a road trip from Sioux Falls to Rapid City in South Dakota and it is one of our favorite states we have ever visited! From the incredible food, beautiful views, 2 National Parks, tons of state parks, wildlife, weather, the list goes on and on! Guess this park! I’ll give you a hint, she bad! 😉 Badlands National Park, words escape me when I try to express our Badlands NP visit. Known to be dry and desolate but when we visited it was a paradise on earth. And to be honest I had no expectation of this place, all the images on Pinterest were lackluster and boring. We were just gonna pass through to check it off our NP list but man I dream of this place sometimes more often than any other park. It’s vastness calls my soul and the wildflowers help too! 🌻 Maybe it was the lack of expectation or just pure magical timing but this experience will last a lifetime. 💭 Ps. This was during last year’s summer heat wave through the US and we somehow were in the coldest place in the states.
