After lunch, visit the famous Taoist temples on the mountain, including the Xuanwu Temple and the Zhenyue Palace. These temples are not only culturally significant, but also offer a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of the hiking trails.

Take a break from hiking and explore the nearby town of Huayin. Visit the Huashan Museum to learn more about the history and culture of the area. Next, check out the Huaqing Hot Springs, which have been used for over 3,000 years and were once a favorite spot of emperors and concubines.
