Start your day early and head to the Yunling Scenic Area, where you can take a cable car up to the mountain. The ride itself is an attraction, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Once you reach the top, visit the iconic Red Clouds Golden Summit, where you'll be able to see the famous "Buddha's Light" (a natural phenomenon caused by the reflection of sunlight on the clouds) and enjoy panoramic views of the mountain range.
Afternoon
After lunch, explore the natural beauty of the mountain by hiking on one of the many trails. One popular route is the Sky Road , which takes you through dense forests, past waterfalls, and over bridges. Along the way, you'll come across many religious temples, including the Wuxiangang Temple and the Yunju Temple.
Evening
As the sun starts to set, make your way back to the Golden Summit to witness the incredible sight of the "Buddha's Halo" - a rare and beautiful phenomenon where a rainbow-colored ring appears around the Buddha statue. The summit is also a great place to stargaze and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
Morning
Spend your morning exploring the stunning Fenghuang Ancient Town, located at the foot of Mount Fanjing. This well-preserved town is built on the banks of the Tuojiang River and is known for its unique architecture and rich history. Visit the Tuojiang River Scenic Area, where you can take a boat ride and see the town from a different perspective.
Afternoon
After lunch, visit the Fanjing Mountain National Nature Reserve, which is home to many endangered species such as the Guizhou snub-nosed monkey and the Chinese giant salamander. Take a guided tour to learn more about the flora and fauna of the area and how the reserve is working to protect them.
Morning
For a more adventurous morning, head to the Yunshanping Scenic Area, where you can hike up to the highest peak of Mount Fanjing - the Qianfeng Summit. The hike is challenging but rewarding, with breathtaking views of the mountain range and the surrounding valleys.
Afternoon
After lunch, visit the Shuangshipu Scenic Area, where you can explore the ancient villages and learn about the local culture. The villages are built on the hillsides and are surrounded by terraced fields and lush forests. Make sure to visit the Dong Minority Museum to learn about the history and traditions of this ethnic group.
