1 Day in Hue Vietnam Itinerary

Start your day with a visit to the Forbidden Purple City (Tu Cam Thanh). This UNESCO World Heritage site was once the residence of the Nguyen emperors and is a must-see for history enthusiasts. The complex is vast, so allocate around 2 hours to explore its many halls and pavilions. Afterward, take a short walk to the Noon Gate (Cua Ngo Mon), the main entrance to the Imperial City. It's an iconic symbol of Hue and offers great photo opportunities. For breakfast or a coffee break, head to "La Creperie" nearby for some delicious crepes and coffee.

In the afternoon, continue your exploration with a visit to the Thai Hoa Palace, known for its grand throne hall where emperors were crowned.
