Start your day with a traditional Sichuan-style breakfast at a local tea house. Try some famous Sichuan dishes like Dan Dan Noodles, Douhua (tofu pudding), and Sichuan-style wontons. After breakfast, head to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, where you can see pandas playing and eating bamboo.
Afternoon
After visiting the pandas, head to the Wuhou Shrine, which is dedicated to the famous military strategist Zhuge Liang. The shrine is surrounded by beautiful gardens and sculptures. After the shrine, visit Jinli Ancient Street where you can find local souvenirs and snacks.
Morning
Start your day by visiting the Leshan Giant Buddha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The statue is carved into the side of a cliff and is over 71 meters tall. After visiting the Buddha, head back to Chengdu for lunch.
Afternoon
After lunch, visit the Wenshu Monastery, one of the largest and best-preserved Buddhist temples in Chengdu. The temple has beautiful gardens and courtyards, and you can also enjoy a cup of tea in the tea house. After the temple, head to the People's Park where you can see locals practicing tai chi and playing traditional instruments.
