Start your day by taking the Keihan Main Line to Fushimi-Inari Station, which is just a short walk away from the famous Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. This shrine is known for its thousands of vermillion torii gates that line the hiking trails on the mountain. Take a hike through the gates and enjoy the serene atmosphere of the shrine.
Afternoon
After your visit to Fushimi Inari Taisha, take the Keihan Main Line to Gion-Shijo Station and explore the historic Gion district. Here, you can see traditional wooden machiya houses, visit Yasaka Shrine, and try some delicious local food at one of the many restaurants in the area. Be sure to keep an eye out for geisha and maiko walking along the streets.
Evening
End your day at Kiyomizu-Gojo Station and take a short walk to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This temple is known for its stunning views of the city and the surrounding forests. Take in the beauty of the temple and its surroundings as the sun sets.

Start your day by taking the Keihan Main Line to Sanjo Station and then transferring to the Keihan Oto Line to get to Uji Station. You can also visit the Ujigami Shrine, one of the oldest Shinto shrines in Japan.

After your visit to Uji, take the Keihan Uji Line to Mimurodo Station and visit the famous Mount Hiei. You can take a cable car to the top of the mountain and visit Enryaku-ji Temple, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. The temple complex is huge and has many beautiful buildings and gardens to explore.
Evening
End your day by taking the Keihan Main Line to Demachiyanagi Station and visiting the Shimogamo Shrine, another UNESCO World Heritage site. This shrine is located in a beautiful forest and is known for its traditional architecture and peaceful atmosphere. After your visit, take a walk along the Kamo River and enjoy the scenery.
