After descending from the 5th Station, head to the Oshino Hakkai village, which is located at the foot of Mount Fuji, and explore its eight crystal-clear ponds that are fed by the snowmelt from the mountain. You can also indulge in some traditional Japanese food and snacks at the local restaurants and shops.

Start your day early with a sunrise hike up Mount Fuji. You can take the Yoshida Trail, which is the most popular and well-maintained route. You can also opt to rent a mountain hut along the trail to rest during the hike.

End your trip with a visit to the Chureito Pagoda, which is a five-story pagoda that offers panoramic views of Mount Fuji and the surrounding countryside. The pagoda is especially beautiful during the cherry blossom season in spring and the autumn foliage season in fall.
