As you ascend, you'll pass by various small temples and shops selling religious items.
Afternoon
After reaching the Bhawan (main shrine), take some time to rest and freshen up. Participate in the rituals and seek blessings from Mata Vaishno Devi. The serene environment and divine energy will rejuvenate your spirit. Post darshan, explore the nearby attractions like Bhairon Temple, which is another 2 km trek from Bhawan.
Evening
Descend back to Katra by evening. Once you reach Katra, relax at your hotel or guesthouse. For dinner, head to Madhuban for a delicious vegetarian meal that caters to pilgrims' dietary preferences.

Exploring Local Attractions
Morning
Start your day with a hearty breakfast at Sagar Ratna. Post breakfast, visit the Ardh Kuwari Cave, which is located halfway on the route to Vaishno Devi Shrine. This cave holds significant religious importance as it is believed that Mata Vaishno Devi meditated here for nine months.
Afternoon
After exploring Ardh Kuwari Cave, return to Katra for lunch at Manoranjan Dhaba. Post lunch, take a short trip to Baba Dhansar, a beautiful waterfall and sacred site located about 10 km from Katra. The natural beauty combined with its spiritual significance makes it a must-visit spot.
Evening
In the evening, return to Katra and enjoy some leisure time exploring local markets or simply relaxing at your accommodation. For dinner, visit Pooja Vaishno Dhaba, known for its authentic North Indian cuisine.
