Start your day with a visit to the Grand Palace, the most famous landmark in Bangkok. This sprawling complex of buildings was the home of Thai kings for 150 years and is a stunning example of traditional Thai architecture. Spend around 2-3 hours exploring the palace grounds and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew).
Afternoon
Head over to Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho), which is just a short walk from the Grand Palace. Wat Pho is one of Bangkok's oldest temples and houses an enormous reclining Buddha statue that is 46 meters long. Allocate about 1-2 hours here to fully appreciate its beauty. For lunch, dine at Raan Jay Fai, renowned for its Michelin-starred street food.
Evening
Conclude your first day with a visit to Sky Bar at Lebua State Tower, one of the highest rooftop bars in Bangkok offering panoramic views of the city skyline. Enjoy a cocktail as you watch the sunset over Bangkok.
