Start your day with a visit to the Grand Palace, the most famous landmark in Bangkok. The palace is a magnificent complex of buildings and temples with incredible architecture and design. Next, visit the Wat Pho temple, which is home to the world-famous reclining Buddha statue.
Afternoon
Head to Khao San Road for lunch, a street famous for its food stalls and backpacker vibe. After lunch, take a longtail boat tour of the Chao Phraya River and explore the canals of Bangkok. End the day with a visit to the Wat Arun temple, where you can climb up to the top for stunning views of the city.
Morning
Take a day trip to Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the former capital of Thailand. Visit the ancient temples and ruins, such as Wat Phra Si Sanphet and Wat Mahathat, and learn about the history of the city.
Afternoon
After lunch, head back to Bangkok and visit the Chatuchak Weekend Market, a massive market with over 15,000 stalls. You can find everything from clothing and accessories to home decor and souvenirs.
Morning
Start the day with a visit to the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, located about 100 kilometers outside of Bangkok. Take a boat ride through the canals and try some of the delicious food being sold by the vendors.
Afternoon
After lunch, head to Pattaya, a beach town about 2 hours from Bangkok. Check into your hotel and spend some time relaxing on the beach.
Morning
Visit the Sanctuary of Truth, a unique wooden temple that is entirely hand-carved. The temple is a stunning example of Thai craftsmanship and architecture.
Afternoon
After lunch, head to the Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden, which has beautiful gardens, a lake, and a cultural show featuring Thai dance and music.
Morning
Take a day trip to the Coral Island, which is a short boat ride away from Pattaya. Spend the day snorkeling, swimming, and relaxing on the beach.
Afternoon
After lunch on the island, head back to Pattaya and visit the Art in Paradise museum, which has 3D art installations that make for great photo ops.
