Start your day with a visit to the Sapporo Beer Museum. Although it may seem like an odd choice with a one-year-old, the museum is located in a beautiful park with plenty of space for your little one to run around. The museum itself is also very interactive and has plenty of exhibits to keep everyone entertained.
Afternoon
After the museum, head over to Odori Park, a large park in the center of Sapporo. Take a stroll through the park and let your little one play in one of the many playgrounds. You can also grab lunch from one of the food vendors in the park or head to one of the nearby restaurants for some delicious Hokkaido cuisine.
Evening
End your day with a visit to the Sapporo TV Tower. Not only does the tower provide stunning views of the city, but it also has a small observation deck with a glass floor that your little one will love. There's also a gift shop and a few restaurants where you can grab a bite to eat.

Take a day trip to the Otaru Canal. The canal is a beautiful spot for a stroll and offers plenty of photo opportunities. There are also many shops and restaurants in the area, so you can do some souvenir shopping or grab lunch at one of the delicious seafood restaurants.
Afternoon
After lunch, head over to the Otaru Music Box Museum. This museum has an extensive collection of music boxes and is sure to be a hit with your little one. There's also a workshop where you can make your own music box.

Spend the morning at the Shiroi Koibito Park. This chocolate factory and amusement park is a great spot for families. There's a factory tour, a chocolate shop, and a variety of rides and attractions for kids.

After the park, take a trip to the Mount Moiwa Ropeway. The ropeway provides stunning views of Sapporo and there's a small observation deck at the top. There's also a restaurant where you can grab a meal or a snack.

Spend the morning at Nijo Market. This bustling market has a variety of fresh seafood and produce vendors, as well as many souvenir shops. There's also a small playground for your little one to play in.

After the market, head over to Maruyama Zoo. The zoo has a variety of animals, including polar bears, penguins, and red pandas. There's also a petting zoo and a playground.
