Take a scenic drive along the Antelope Valley Poppy Trail and see more of the poppy fields. Stop by the Prime Desert Woodland Preserve for a hike and to see the desert animals and plants. End your afternoon with a visit to the Antelope Valley Indian Museum to learn about the history and culture of the Antelope Valley's Native American tribes.

Visit the Apollo Community Regional Park to enjoy a morning of fishing or boating on the lake. Afterward, head to the Antelope Valley Mall for some shopping and lunch at one of the many restaurants.

Take a tour of the Joe Davies Heritage Airpark to see the collection of military aircraft and learn about their history. If you're interested in art, visit the Lancaster Museum of Art and History to see the exhibitions of contemporary art and local history.
