Afternoon

After lunch, explore the many shops and souks, including the gold market and the spice market.
Morning
Explore the ancient city of Jerash, located about an hour outside of Amman. Jerash is one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the world, and is home to stunning ruins including the Temple of Artemis, the Oval Plaza, and the Colonnaded Street.
Afternoon
After Jerash, stop at the nearby Ajloun Castle, a 12th-century fortress built by Saladin to protect against the Crusaders. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Amman.
Evening
