Start your morning with a visit to one of Balik Pulau's famous durian farms, such as Bao Sheng Durian Farm or Balik Pulau Durian Farm. Afternoon
After your durian farm visit, head over to the nearby Kek Lok Si Temple, one of the largest Buddhist temples in Southeast Asia. Admire the temple's ornate architecture, including its towering Pagoda of Ten Thousand Buddhas, and take in the sweeping views of the surrounding hills and sea. You can also explore the temple's gardens and ponds, which are home to many colorful fish and turtles.
Evening
For dinner, head back to Balik Pulau town and try some of the local specialties at Restoran Aik Hoe. This family-run restaurant is known for its delicious assam laksa, a spicy and sour noodle soup made with tamarind, fish, and various herbs and spices. You can also try other Penang favorites like char kway teow, rojak, and cendol.

Today, take a trip to the nearby Penang National Park, which is home to a diverse range of wildlife and plant species. You can hike through the park's many trails, which wind through lush rainforest, past waterfalls, and along the coast. After your cycling tour, visit the Penang Butterfly Farm, a popular attraction that houses thousands of colorful butterflies and other insects. You can explore the farm's many exhibits and learn about the life cycle and behavior of these fascinating creatures. You can also visit the farm's other attractions, such as the insect museum and the koi pond.

For dinner, head to the nearby Balik Pulau Fishing Village and try some of the fresh seafood at Hai Boey Seafood Restaurant. This open-air restaurant is known for its excellent seafood dishes, such as sweet and sour crab, butter prawns, and steamed fish. You can also enjoy the sea breeze and views of the nearby islands.
