Today, you can visit La Selva Biological Station, a research station located in the midst of a tropical rainforest. Here, you can take a guided birdwatching tour and spot species such as the great green macaw and the chestnut-mandibled toucan.

After lunch, head to the Arenal Volcano National Park to spot birds such as the keel-billed toucan and the green honeycreeper. You can also take a dip in the hot springs and relax after a day of birdwatching.
