Start your day at the heart of Sarajevo, Ba ar ija. Enjoy a traditional Bosnian breakfast at a local restaurant, such as eljo 1, famous for its cevapi. After breakfast, take a stroll through the narrow streets of Ba ar ija and visit the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque, one of the most important landmarks of the city.
Afternoon
After visiting the mosque, head to the Sarajevo City Hall, an impressive Austro-Hungarian-era building that now houses the city's National Library. From there, take a short walk to the Latin Bridge, the site of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, which sparked World War I. Learn about the history of Sarajevo at the nearby Sarajevo 1878-1918 Museum.
