Start your first morning in Burlington by heading to the Church Street Marketplace. This pedestrian-only outdoor shopping mall is home to over 100 shops and restaurants, as well as street performers and live music. Grab a coffee at Uncommon Grounds or Muddy Waters and stroll the marketplace.

After exploring the Marketplace, head over to the nearby Lake Champlain waterfront. Rent a bike and ride along the Burlington Bike Path, a 7.5-mile paved trail that offers stunning views of the lake and the Adirondack Mountains. Stop at the ECHO Leahy Center for Lake Champlain, an interactive science museum, to learn more about the lake and its ecosystem.

Spend your second day exploring the natural beauty of Burlington by hiking in the nearby mountains. Head to the nearby Mount Philo State Park, where you can hike up to the summit for breathtaking views of Lake Champlain and the surrounding landscape.
