Start your day with a visit to the Yuelu Mountain, which is located on the west bank of the Xiang River. The mountain is known for its natural beauty and historical significance, as it has been a site of study and contemplation for over 1,000 years. Take a cable car to the top of the mountain and explore the temples, pagodas and gardens that are scattered throughout the area.
Afternoon
After descending from Yuelu Mountain, head to the Orange Island Scenic Area, which is situated in the middle of the Xiang River. Take a stroll along the winding paths and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the river and the city. There are also many attractions on the island, including the Pavilion of Prince Teng, which is a magnificent ancient building that has been standing for more than 1,000 years.
Evening
End your day with a visit to the Huangxing Road Pedestrian Street, which is a popular shopping and entertainment district in Changsha. The street is lined with shops, restaurants and bars, and there are often street performers and other entertainers putting on shows for the crowds.

Spend your morning exploring the ancient Yuelu Academy, which is one of the four great academies in China. The academy was established in 976 AD, and has since become a center of learning and culture in the region. There are many historical buildings and artifacts to see, including the Lushan Temple, the Yushu Library and the Shuyuan Gate.
Afternoon
After visiting the academy, head to the Hunan Provincial Museum, which is one of the most comprehensive museums in China. The museum has a vast collection of artifacts and exhibits that showcase the history and culture of Hunan Province, including ancient pottery, bronze vessels, jade carvings and calligraphy.

Take a day trip to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which is located about 3 hours from Changsha. The park is known for its stunning natural scenery, including towering sandstone pillars, deep ravines and lush forests. Take a cable car ride to the top of the mountain and explore the many hiking trails and viewpoints that offer breathtaking views of the park.
Afternoon
After returning from Zhangjiajie, head to the Mawangdui Han Tombs, which are a group of ancient tombs that date back to the Han Dynasty (206 BC to 220 AD). The tombs were discovered in 1972 and contain many valuable artifacts and relics, including silk scrolls, lacquerware, and a well-preserved female corpse.

Visit the Changsha Window of the World, which is a theme park that features replicas of famous landmarks from around the world, including the Eiffel Tower, the Great Wall of China, and the Statue of Liberty. The park also has many rides, shows, and other attractions that are fun for all ages.
Afternoon
After visiting the theme park, head to the Changsha Martyrs Park, which is a beautiful park that honors the heroes and martyrs of the city. The park has many historical monuments and sculptures, as well as lovely gardens and lakes.
Evening
End your day with a visit to the Xiangjiang Scenic Belt, which is a waterfront promenade that runs along the Xiang River. Take a leisurely stroll along the river and enjoy the beautiful views of the city skyline, or take a boat ride to see the sights from a different perspective.

Spend your last day in Changsha exploring the city's modern side by visiting the Kaifu Wanda Plaza, which is a large shopping mall that has many international brands and restaurants. There are also many entertainment options, including a cinema and an indoor ice skating rink.
Afternoon
After shopping and entertainment, head to the Hunan Broadcasting System Tower, which is one of the tallest towers in China. Take a ride to the observation deck and enjoy the panoramic views of the city and the surrounding countryside.
