Start your day by taking a train from Rapallo to the first village of Cinque Terre, Riomaggiore. Once you arrive, take a stroll through the village and admire the colorful houses that are stacked one on top of the other.

Take the train to Monterosso al Mare, the largest of the five villages, where you can enjoy a leisurely lunch at one of the many restaurants that line the beach. After lunch, take a stroll through the old town and visit the Church of San Giovanni Battista.

From Monterosso, take a short boat ride to Vernazza, arguably the most beautiful of the five villages. Here, enjoy a glass of local wine at one of the bars overlooking the harbor before hiking up to the Castello Doria for panoramic views of the village and the sea.
