Start your day early with a visit to Tiger Hill to catch the sunrise over the Himalayas. As the sun comes up, you'll be treated to a spectacular view of the snow-capped peaks of Kanchenjunga and Everest.

After the sunrise, head to the nearby Ghoom Monastery to learn about Buddhism and see the statue of the Maitreya Buddha. Then, take a ride on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, also known as the "Toy Train," which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that winds through the scenic mountain landscapes and charming tea plantations.

In the evening, explore the bustling markets of Darjeeling and sample some of the local cuisine. Be sure to try some momos (dumplings) and thukpa (noodle soup) for a taste of traditional Himalayan food.
