Start your day with a scenic train ride from Vevey to Interlaken. The journey takes approximately 2 hours and offers stunning views of the Swiss countryside. Once you arrive in Interlaken, head to the Tourist Information Center to pick up a map and get recommendations for the best activities in the area.

Take the train from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen, a charming village nestled in a valley surrounded by towering mountain peaks. From Lauterbrunnen, take a cable car up to the top of Schilthorn, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. On a clear day, you can see as far as Germany and France. After taking in the views, head back down to Lauterbrunnen and explore the village. Stop for lunch at one of the cozy restaurants and try some traditional Swiss dishes like cheese fondue or r sti.

Head back to Interlaken and take a stroll along the Aare River, which runs through the town. Stop at one of the many outdoor cafes for a drink and watch the sunset over the mountains.
