Morning

Afternoon
After a morning of exploring the park's unique landscapes, it's time to cool off at the natural spring-fed pool at Furnace Creek Ranch. Relax and enjoy the surrounding oasis, or take a dip in the refreshing water. Afterward, head to the Borax Museum to learn about the area's mining history and see some of the equipment used to extract borax from the desert.
Evening
End the day with a drive to Dante's View, a lookout point offering stunning views of the valley below. Watch the sun set over the mountains and then head to The Inn at Death Valley for a delicious dinner at the upscale restaurant, The Last Kind Words Saloon.

Morning
Start your day with a hike in Golden Canyon, a colorful and narrow canyon with towering rock formations and stunning views. The most popular hike is the Golden Canyon Trail, a 2.5-mile round trip that takes you through the heart of the canyon. Afterward, drive to the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, the park's most accessible dunes, and take a stroll through the sand.

After a morning of hiking and sand dune exploring, it's time to take a scenic drive through the park. Head to Artist's Drive, a 9-mile scenic loop that takes you through colorful hills and past unique rock formations. Stop at the Artist's Palette viewpoint to see the vibrant colors of the hills up close.
Evening
End the day with a visit to Scotty's Castle, a historic home built in the 1920s that now serves as a museum. Take a guided tour of the Spanish-style villa and learn about the colorful history of the home and its eccentric owner, Walter Scott. Afterward, grab a casual dinner at the Corkscrew Saloon, located at the Furnace Creek Inn.
