Start your road trip early in the morning from Denver, Colorado, with a cup of coffee from one of Denver's best coffee shops, such as Huckleberry Roasters or Little Owl Coffee. Enjoy the scenic drive as you head towards Oklahoma City, stopping for breakfast in the town of Limon, Colorado, at the Mid Town Cafe, a classic American diner.
Afternoon
After finishing breakfast, continue your journey towards Oklahoma City and make a stop in Wichita, Kansas, to visit the Sedgwick County Zoo, home to over 3,000 animals from 400 different species. Take a walk around the zoo and enjoy the beautiful gardens and exhibits, including the Elephant Experience, a new exhibit that allows you to get up close and personal with the zoo's elephants.
Evening
After a day of driving and exploring, check into your hotel in Oklahoma City and head to Bricktown, a vibrant entertainment district, for dinner at Mickey Mantle's Steakhouse, known for its prime steaks and seafood. Enjoy a cocktail on the patio overlooking the canal before heading back to your hotel for a good night's rest.

Start your day with a visit to the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum, a beautiful and moving tribute to the victims of the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. Take your time exploring the museum and the outdoor memorial, which features a reflecting pool and 168 empty chairs to represent each of the lives lost in the bombing.
Afternoon
After visiting the memorial, head to the Myriad Botanical Gardens, a 15-acre park in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City. Take a walk around the gardens and enjoy the beautiful flowers, water features, and sculptures. If you're visiting in the summer, be sure to check out the Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory, a unique indoor rainforest filled with exotic plants and waterfalls.

For dinner, head to the Paseo Arts District, a charming neighborhood filled with art galleries and restaurants. Enjoy dinner at Paseo Grill, a local favorite known for its fresh seafood and steaks. After dinner, take a walk around the neighborhood and enjoy the colorful murals and street art.
