Morning
Start your day with a visit to the Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site, a UNESCO World Heritage site that was once the largest pre-Columbian settlement north of Mexico. Explore the ancient Native American city and climb the 100-foot Monks Mound for an incredible view of the surrounding area.
Afternoon
After Cahokia, head to the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, a Catholic shrine and pilgrimage site. Take a guided tour of the grounds and visit the beautiful church and chapel. In the afternoon, visit the Gateway Geyser, the second-tallest fountain in the world. It shoots water up to 630 feet in the air and is located on the Mississippi Riverfront.

Morning
