Start your day off by visiting the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets, which have been in use for over 500 years. Watch the fishermen skillfully operate their massive nets, and even try your hand at catching a fish or two. Next, walk over to the St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India, and see the tombstone of Vasco da Gama, the famous Portuguese explorer.
Afternoon
After a morning of sightseeing, it's time to indulge in some authentic Kerala cuisine. Head to Kayees Rahmathulla Cafe and try their famous fried chicken with parotta, or enjoy a traditional thali at Dal Roti. In the afternoon, take a stroll through Jew Town and explore the shops selling antiques, spices, and handmade crafts. Don't forget to stop by the Paradesi Synagogue, the oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth of Nations.
Evening
As the sun begins to set, make your way to the promenade along the Arabian Sea. Take a relaxing walk along the beach, or find a spot to sit and enjoy the stunning sunset. End your evening with a performance at the Kerala Kathakali Centre, where you can witness the traditional dance-drama of Kerala, or head to the Greenix Village to experience a cultural show featuring music, dance, and martial arts.

Today, start off with a visit to the Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace. The palace was built by the Portuguese in the 16th century, and later renovated by the Dutch. It now houses a museum showcasing the history and culture of Kerala. After the palace, take a short walk to the nearby spice market, where you can smell and sample the many spices and herbs that Kerala is famous for.
Afternoon
For lunch, head to the iconic Hotel Fort House, which serves up delicious Keralan dishes with a modern twist. In the afternoon, take a ferry over to Vypin Island to visit the Cherai Beach, known for its long stretch of golden sand and calm waters. Relax on the beach, or try your hand at surfing or parasailing.

Start your day with a visit to the Cochin Spice Market, where you can buy spices and herbs straight from the source. Next, head to the Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica, a historic church that was built by the Portuguese in the 16th century. Take a walk through the nearby Fort Kochi Beach, and see the historic Fort Immanuel, a ruined fort that was built by the Portuguese.
Afternoon
For lunch, head to the Kashi Art Cafe, a popular spot that serves up delicious sandwiches, salads, and pastas. After lunch, take a walk through the picturesque streets of Fort Kochi, and see the many beautiful colonial-era buildings that dot the area. Don't miss the Vasco da Gama Square, a public square that features a statue of the famous explorer.
