Start your day with a visit to the Kamakhya Temple, one of the most revered shrines of Goddess Shakti. After a holy visit, head to the Assam State Museum to explore the rich art, history, and culture of Assam.
Afternoon
After lunch, visit the Umananda Temple situated on the Peacock Island in the middle of the Brahmaputra River. Take a ferry ride from Kachari Ghat to reach the island. In the evening, go for a sunset river cruise on the Brahmaputra and catch a glimpse of the beautiful scenery.
Morning
On the second day, start early and drive to Cherapunji, the wettest place on earth. Visit the Nohkalikai Falls and Seven Sisters Falls, two of the most famous waterfalls in the area. Also, visit the Mawsmai Cave which is one of the longest caves in the region.

After lunch, visit the Living Root Bridges, man-made bridges made of the roots of rubber trees. These bridges can hold up to 50 people at a time and are a unique experience.
