Start your day by visiting the Kamakhya Temple, one of the oldest and most revered temples in India. It is situated on a hill and offers a panoramic view of the city. After visiting the temple, head to the nearby Assam State Museum to explore the rich cultural heritage of Assam.

Next, take a drive to the Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary to witness the majestic one-horned rhinoceros in their natural habitat. It is located about 50 km from Guwahati and takes around 2 hours to reach by car. You can also spot other wildlife such as wild buffalo and elephants.

Head back to Guwahati and visit the Umananda Temple, located on a small island in the middle of the Brahmaputra River. It is accessible by a ferry ride and offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere. End your day with a delicious dinner at the local food stalls near the Guwahati Railway Station.
