After the ceremony, explore the nearby markets for some souvenirs and local sweets like peda and barfi.

Morning
Get an early start and drive 30 minutes to Rishikesh, another holy city on the banks of the Ganges. Here, you can visit the famous Beatles Ashram, where the band stayed in 1968 and composed many of their songs. The ashram is now abandoned but still attracts visitors for its graffiti and artwork.
Afternoon
After the ashram, head to the Triveni Ghat for a holy dip in the river and witness the evening aarti. This ghat is believed to be the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers. You can also take a stroll through the lively markets of Rishikesh and grab some lunch at one of the many cafes and restaurants.
