Begin your day by visiting the Himeji Castle, also known as the White Heron Castle, which is one of Japan's most spectacular castles. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered to be the finest surviving example of Japanese castle architecture from the early 17th century.

After visiting the castle, take a stroll through the Kokoen Garden, which is located just next to the castle. This beautiful garden has nine different areas that represent various styles of Japanese gardening. It's a great place to relax, take in the scenery, and enjoy a cup of traditional Japanese tea.

End your day with a visit to the Shoshazan Engyoji Temple, which can be reached by a ropeway ride from the base of the mountain. This temple has a very serene atmosphere and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. It's also known as the filming location for the movie "The Last Samurai".
