Start your day at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) campus, located in the Bronzeville neighborhood of Chicago. Take a stroll through the beautiful Mies van der Rohe-designed campus, known for its modernist architecture. Visit the IIT Tower, one of Chicago's tallest buildings and home to the Institute of Design, where you can see a variety of design exhibits.
Afternoon
Head to the nearby Museum of Science and Industry, one of the largest science museums in the world. Explore exhibits on everything from human biology to space exploration. Make sure to check out the U-505 submarine exhibit, which tells the story of the capture of a German submarine during World War II.
Morning
Spend the morning exploring the vibrant Pilsen neighborhood, known for its Latino culture and street art. Visit the National Museum of Mexican Art, which houses an impressive collection of Mexican art and artifacts.
Afternoon
After lunch at one of Pilsen's many taquerias or bakeries, head to the nearby University of Chicago campus. Take a tour of the Gothic-style buildings and learn about the university's history and notable alumni.
