Begin your day with a visit to the famous Thiksey Monastery, which is known for its beautiful architecture and houses a 49-foot tall statue of Maitreya Buddha. After exploring the monastery, head to the Shey Palace, which was once the summer capital of Ladakh. The palace is located on top of a hill and offers beautiful views of the valley below.
Afternoon
After lunch, visit the Hemis Monastery, which is one of the largest and wealthiest monasteries in Ladakh. The monastery has a museum that displays a great collection of ancient relics and artifacts. After the Hemis Monastery, head to the Stok Palace Museum, which is located at the base of the Stok Kangri mountain. The museum houses a collection of artifacts related to the royal family of Ladakh.
Evening
Spend the evening exploring the Leh Market, which is a bustling center of shops and restaurants. You can find everything from traditional Ladakhi souvenirs to modern clothing and accessories. End the evening with dinner at one of the many restaurants that offer traditional Ladakhi cuisine, such as The Tibetan Kitchen or Gesmo Restaurant.

Start your day by driving to the Nubra Valley, which is a beautiful valley located about 150 kilometers from Leh. On the way, you will cross the Khardung La Pass, which is one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Once you reach the Nubra Valley, visit the Diskit Monastery, which is the oldest and largest monastery in the valley.

After lunch, head to the Hunder Sand Dunes, which are located near the village of Hunder.
