Morning
Start your day with a visit to the iconic Palace of Wind (Hawa Mahal). This architectural marvel, also known as the 'Palace of Winds,' is a five-story structure made of red and pink sandstone. It was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh and designed by Lal Chand Ustad. The palace has 953 small windows, called jharokhas, decorated with intricate latticework. The original intention of the lattice design was to allow royal ladies to observe everyday life and festivals celebrated in the street below without being seen.
Afternoon
After exploring Hawa Mahal, head over to City Palace. Located in the heart of Jaipur, this magnificent palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. The City Palace complex includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings. It is a blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture. Don't miss out on visiting the museum inside Chandra Mahal which showcases various artifacts from Jaipur's royal heritage.
Evening
