Start your day in Khajjiar with a visit to the Khajji Nag Temple, a historic temple built in the 12th century dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is surrounded by lush green meadows and thick cedar forests. After exploring the temple, take a stroll through the Khajjiar Lake, also known as the Mini Switzerland of India, and enjoy the serene surroundings.

For lunch, head to the local dhabas that offer authentic Himachali cuisine, such as Madra, Chana Dal, and Kadi Chawal. After lunch, take a short trek to the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to several species of animals and birds, including the Himalayan Black Bear, Ghoral, and the Kalij Pheasant. You can also indulge in some adventure activities like trekking, paragliding, and horse riding.

End your day by visiting the Panch Pandav Tree, a cluster of five ancient cedar trees, which are believed to be more than 500 years old. The trees are named after the five Pandavas from the epic Mahabharata. You can also enjoy a beautiful sunset view from the tree.
