Start your journey from Kolkata to Gangasagar. Take a private car or taxi from Kolkata to Harwood Point, which is the last road point before Gangasagar. It will take around 3-4 hours to reach Harwood Point depending on the traffic.

From Harwood Point, take a ferry to cross the Muriganga River and reach Kachuberia, the gateway to Gangasagar. Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the local markets and shops in Kachuberia and enjoying local delicacies.
Morning
Wake up early and take a dip in the holy waters of Gangasagar. Visit the Kapil Muni Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and a popular pilgrimage site.
Afternoon
Enjoy a traditional Bengali lunch at one of the local restaurants in Gangasagar. After lunch, visit the Sagar Island Lighthouse and climb to the top for a panoramic view of the island.
