Start your day by exploring the beautiful countryside of Kota Belud. Take a scenic drive up to the Tamu Kota Belud, a traditional open-air market where the locals come to sell their farm produce, handicrafts, and livestock. After that, head to the Tuaran Crocodile Farm, which is home to over 5,000 crocodiles of different species, including the saltwater crocodile, the largest living reptile on earth.
Afternoon
After spending the morning with the crocs, take a short drive to the Kampung Sumangkap Gong Making Village where you can experience the traditional way of making gongs, the musical instruments that are an integral part of the Sabah culture. You can also try your hand at playing the gongs and learn some basic rhythms from the locals. Next, head to the nearby Rungus Longhouse, a traditional communal dwelling of the Rungus people, one of the indigenous tribes in Sabah.

Start your day with a visit to the Kota Belud Tamu Besar, the biggest open-air market in Sabah. It takes place every Sunday and is a great place to see the locals in their traditional costumes selling everything from fresh produce to handmade crafts. After that, take a scenic drive up to the Sabah Agricultural Park, also known as the Crocker Range Park, where you can explore the various botanical gardens and learn about the flora and fauna of the region.

After lunch, head to the Mengkabong Water Village, one of the few remaining water villages in Sabah. Take a boat ride through the mangrove forest and observe the traditional lifestyle of the Bajau Laut people, who are known as the sea gypsies of Sabah. You can also try some of their traditional snacks and delicacies, such as the ambuyat, a sticky sago starch that is a staple food in their diet.

Start your day with an adrenaline-pumping adventure by going white water rafting on the Kiulu River. The river is ideal for beginners and offers a scenic ride through the lush rainforest of Sabah. After that, head to the Upside Down House, a unique attraction where everything is upside down, including the furniture and fixtures. It's a great place to take some quirky photos and have some fun with your friends and family.

After lunch, head to the nearby Mantanani Island, one of the most beautiful islands in Sabah. Take a boat ride to the island, where you can enjoy some of the best snorkeling and diving spots in the region. You can also relax on the white sandy beaches and soak up the sun.
