After exploring the shrine, drive south to the Kumihama Bay area to try your hand at fishing and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch at one of the local restaurants. Then, stop by the Kumihama Bay Terrace to learn about the area's fishing industry and try some delicious local seafood snacks.

End the day by driving to the Tango Peninsula's northernmost point to watch the sunset at the Ine no Funaya, a unique collection of traditional boat houses built right on the water.
