Start your day by visiting the Mahakaleshwar Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India. It is believed that a visit to this temple will grant you liberation from the cycle of birth and death. After offering prayers, head to the Kaliadeh Palace located on the banks of the Shipra river. This palace was once a popular retreat for the Maratha rulers.
Afternoon
After lunch, head to the Kal Bhairav Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva's fierce form. This temple is known for its unique rituals, such as offering alcohol to the deity. Next, visit the Vedh Shala Observatory, one of the oldest observatories in India, built during the reign of Raja Jai Singh. Here, you can witness the various astronomical instruments used by ancient astronomers.

Start early and head to the ancient city of Mandu, known for its magnificent fort and palaces. The Jahaz Mahal, Hindola Mahal, and Baz Bahadur Palace are some of the must-visit attractions in Mandu. You can also visit the Jahaz Mahal Lake and Rupmati's Pavilion, which offers a panoramic view of the surrounding hills.

After exploring Mandu, head to the Chhapan Mahadev Temple, a group of 76 ancient temples located near the Narmada river. The intricate carvings on the walls and pillars of these temples are a must-see. After lunch, continue your journey towards Pachmarhi.
