Start your day by exploring the Mandu Fort complex which is filled with ancient ruins, tombs, and palaces that date back to the 15th and 16th centuries. Visit the Jahaz Mahal, Hindola Mahal, and Jami Masjid, which are some of the most iconic landmarks in Mandu.
Afternoon
After lunch, head to the Mandu Jain Temple, also known as the Hathi Mahal or Elephant Palace. It is renowned for its intricate carvings and sculptures that depict Jain mythology. Spend some time admiring the architecture and learning about the history of the temple.
Morning
On the second day, take a guided tour of the Mandu Village, which is famous for its handicrafts, textiles, and local cuisine. Visit the local bazaars and shops to buy souvenirs and explore the local culture.
Afternoon
After lunch, visit the Baobab Tree, which is one of the oldest and largest trees in the region. It is over 1000 years old and has a circumference of over 25 meters. Take a picnic lunch and spend some time relaxing under its shade.
