Start your day by catching an early morning train from Cusco to Aguas Calientes, the town located at the base of Machu Picchu. Enjoy the scenic train ride through the Andean mountains.

Once you arrive in Aguas Calientes, take a short bus ride up to Machu Picchu. Spend the afternoon exploring the ancient ruins, walking through the terraces, and learning about the history and significance of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Don't forget to hike up to the Sun Gate for a breathtaking view of Machu Picchu.

After witnessing the sunset over Machu Picchu, head back down to Aguas Calientes and relax in one of the local hot springs to soothe your muscles and unwind after a day of exploration.
