Once you reach the dam, take a leisurely stroll on the bridge that crosses the river. The view of the river flowing amidst the rocky terrain is mesmerizing and worth capturing in your camera. After spending some time at the dam, head towards Sangama, which is located about 3 km downstream from the dam. Sangama is the confluence of the rivers Arkavathi and Kaveri and is a popular picnic spot. You can take a dip in the river or just relax and enjoy the serene surroundings.
