Start your day with a beach walk along the stunning Mudeford Sandbank, a thin spit of land separating the harbour from the English Channel. Afternoon
Head over to Mudeford Quay and take a ferry ride to Hengistbury Head. Explore the nature reserve and the ancient Iron Age hillfort, and enjoy the panoramic views of the coast. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy it on the beach, or stop by the Hiker Cafe for delicious sandwiches and sweet treats.

Take a day trip to the nearby New Forest National Park. Start your day with a walk through the ancient woodlands and heathlands, and keep an eye out for the wild ponies that roam freely in the park.
