Visit the Gurdwara Nada Sahib, a historical Sikh shrine located on the banks of the Ghaggar River, just a short drive from Nangal. The shrine is dedicated to Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh guru, and is believed to have been visited by him during his travels.

After visiting the Gurdwara, head to the Kila Raipur Sports Festival, also known as the Rural Olympics, which is held annually in February. The festival is a celebration of rural sports such as bullock cart races, tractor races, and tug of war, and attracts participants from all over Punjab.

End your day with a visit to the Naina Devi Temple, a Hindu temple located on a hilltop overlooking the Gobind Sagar Lake. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Naina Devi, and is believed to be one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, or holy abodes of Goddess Shakti.

Start your day by exploring the nearby town of Anandpur Sahib, a holy city for Sikhs and the site of several historical gurdwaras. End your day with a visit to the Sukhna Lake in nearby Chandigarh. The lake is a popular spot for boating and offers a serene environment to relax and unwind.

Take a day trip to the city of Amritsar, home to the Golden Temple, one of the most revered Sikh shrines in the world. The temple is covered in gold and is surrounded by a large pool of water, which is believed to have healing properties.

After visiting the Golden Temple, head to the Jallianwala Bagh, a public garden that is a site of historical importance. The garden is the site of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, where British troops opened fire on unarmed Indian protesters in 1919.

End your day with a visit to the Wagah Border, which marks the border between India and Pakistan. The border ceremony, which takes place every evening, is a popular attraction and involves a display of military pageantry and flag lowering ceremony by both countries.

Spend your last day in Nangal Dam exploring the nearby town of Rupnagar, which is home to several historical sites. Visit the Rupnagar Fort, which was built by Raja Kapoor Singh in the 18th century, and the Gurudwara Bhatta Sahib, a Sikh shrine dedicated to Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh guru.

After exploring Rupnagar, head to the nearby Chamkaur Sahib, a town that is of historical significance to Sikhs. Visit the Gurudwara Sri Hargobind Sahib, which is dedicated to Guru Hargobind, the sixth Sikh guru, and is believed to be the site of a battle between the Sikhs and the Mughals in 1634.

End your day with a visit to the Nangal Market, where you can shop for souvenirs such as traditional Punjabi clothing, handicrafts and spices.
